I tried 44 grs of Win 748 and got noticeable hangfires. I went up to 46 grs of 748 and got barely perceptable hangfires. I don't want to increase the powder change unless I know what I'm doing

FWIW ww-748 in a 6BR 1/14 twist is the dirtiest powder I've yet tried. For me in the 204 with 35's its just right. Its all about matching fouling to bore to bullet to load. YMMV
